Students from all Lee County-based schools, grades K-12, are eligible to enter.

Each grade level will be judged separately. There is a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winner in each category if there are enough excellent submissions. All winners receive ribbons; this year first, second, and third place winners receive book store gift cards. Five overall level winners will be chosen to receive an additional gift card.

An Evening with the Authors

Friday, March 1, 2019 5:30-8:30 p.m.

Meet and mingle with the festival’s bestselling authors during a sunset cruise along the Caloosahatchee River. Join us aboard the Capt. JP, a three-story paddleboat offering a buffet dinner and cash bar.

Paid reservations required.

Proceeds support the Southwest Florida Reading Festival scheduled for March 2, 2019.

Please note that not all authors may be in attendance due to unavoidable travel delays.
